Addiction
Addiction is a physical disorder by psychoactive substances like tobacco, alcohol, heroin, caffeine and other drugs. Drug addiction is the most common problem among youngsters. It is also known as chronic relapsing disorder and it includes drug- seeking and drug- taking behaviors. Drug addiction is managed by many treatments such as 12 step programs, mandatory methadone maintenance, group therapy and one on one therapy and many more. Treatment programs are used for treating the addiction. Some of the most common addictions are computer addiction, sport addiction, gambling addiction, overeating, sex addiction or compulsive sex, compulsive shopping and many more. The addiction can be affected their individual health, social life and mental state. It includes biological and psychological factors. Addiction means people do not control their doing, taking or using. Addiction is an illness. It is solved by counseling, self help groups, behavioral therapies or medical treatment. There are many different addiction counseling programs available.
